| UK award-winning musician Ed Sheeran is featuring a Twi track on his new album. The album, dubbed Divide, set for release on March 3, will also have a deluxe version with four other songs – Barcelona, Bibia Be Ye Yie, Nancy Mulligan, and Save Myself – according to iTunes. The 24-year-old Grammy award winner, who was recently in Ghana, is yet to make any public comments on the song ‘Bibia Be Ye Yie’ but indicated in an interview about his third album on The Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Scott Mills on Friday, January 6 that: "The best experience was I wrote a song in Twi, which is the Ghanaian dialect, and I wrote that in Ghana at Fuse's house with all of his mates". "That was the most fun experience. Being in the studio with someone like Fuse, it's just a party the whole time". |
