East African icon Eddy Kenzo has showed disapproval in the concluded MTV Africa Music Award after losing the award to the South African singer Cassper Nyovest.
Eddy Kenzo was nominated in the Best Live Act alongside Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Flavour (Nigeria), Mafikizolo (South Africa) Stonebwoy (Ghana) and the South African singer Nyovest ended up being crowned a winner.
After Cassper Nyovest was crowned a winner, Eddy Kenzo went on his social media profile and posted his disapproval saying “Politics here”.

Eddy Kenzo, Bebe Cool, Sheebah Karungi were the only Ugandan artists nominated in the largest continental award and all of them managed to lose successfully to their challengers in South Africa, Zimbabwe and DR Congo respectively.
